ECP Incorporated is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Claims Assistant who has the ability to answer questions, collect data and demonstrate attention to detail.

SUMMARY

Responsible for beginning the claim process by gathering claim and supporting documentation, setting up digital file folders, reviewing claim information, and assisting Claim Representatives. Previous Customer Service experience is a big plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage claims received on the previous day via email, fax, web, app and mail.
  • Open claims by entering customer information and documents in the system.
  • Forward claim to respective Claim Representative for reviewing and determination of approval or denial.
  • Enter invoice payment information in the ERP system to issue payments to body shop or directly to customer.
  • Answer phone calls, voicemails, and emails to handle customer questions, concerns and claim information.
  • Follow up with agents and distributors about outstanding issues or questions.
  • Maintain and organize files.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:2 years related administrative and customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
