As an Automotive Customer Service Representative with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answer phone calls and schedule appointments Check guests in and out Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with the Christian Brothers Automotive Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed Keep the facility clean and organized Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload Keeps the service team accountable for making guest update calls on their vehicle Serve as a community ambassador for the store through creating authentic relationships and partnerships Follow all safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications: Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others Some experience in the automotive industry preferred; a strong desire to learn automotive terminology required Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guests Valid state driver's license Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity, and a philosophy of people first.
