Cambrian Ford’s vehicle detail department is fast paced and growing. The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines. The position supports the new car department , used car department and retail customers.
A valid driver’s license is required for this position (G2 or G)
We will provide on the job training for those candidates without detailing experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Clean and refurbish new and used vehicles prior to delivery to customers.
• Wash exterior of vehicle using soap, water, cloth and brushes.
• Dry vehicle so that it is free of streaks and spots.
• Wash and buff wheels, as required.
• Apply rubber dress to shine tires.
• Apply wax to vehicle body, wipe or buff using cloth or buffing machine to protect and preserve shine.
• Clean engine compartment with soap, water and cleaning agents, as required.
• Apply rubber and vinyl dress to shine engine area.
• Clean interior with vacuum, shampoo, cleaning agents and steam cleaner, as required.
• Clean glass surfaces on both sides with cleaning agents.
• Apply paint preservation, vinyl preservation and fabric stain-repellant, as required.
• Install other accessories as required.
• Complete the detailing checklist.
• Inspect finished product thoroughly and report any discrepancies to the PDI Shop Coordinator prior to vehicle
