JOB SUMMARY

The Automotive Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles. This includes wiring, lighting, batteries, sensors, electronic control units (ECUs), and other electrical components to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical diploma or certification in automotive electrical systems or electronics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and multimeters.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • UAE driving license (preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in vehicles, including wiring harnesses, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, and sensors.
  • Test electrical components using diagnostic tools and multimeters.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain vehicle electronic systems, including alarms, audio systems, and navigation units.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and service bulletins.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to reduce breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to resolve vehicle issues.
