We are looking for an Automotive Electrical Designer to create, develop, and test the electrical systems for our service trucks, focus on wiring, control modules, safety features, and factory automation to ensure efficiency, reliability, and adherence to standards. Choose appropriate electrical components, materials, and equipment for the project. Ability to discuss and train/teach technicians how to read and understand electrical schematics. Perform load calculations and power studies to determine electrical needs. Identify and resolve design issues during the project life cycle. Create precise wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts that meet standards and specifications. Daily tasks to include using CAD software (like AutoCAD and Inventor), modifying circuits, ensuring code compliance. Other duties as assigned. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires frequent standing, sitting, bending or stooping for prolonged periods. Ability to communicate by providing verbal/written feedback in a professional manner. Normal range of hearing and vision. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Associate of Applied Science preferred Experience working in a ISO 9001 certified production facility preferred Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault and NetSuite preferred Experience with Bill of Materials preferred Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment. Strong analytical skills. Strong organization skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. #STE
