INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing is a successful and expanding Canadian firm that specializes in the design, building, and modify a wide variety of highest quality luxury and security standard armored trucks, vans, SUVs, and limousines. The company utilizes a combination of advanced custom-made technologies, modern composite, and transparent ballistic materials to create superb luxury, yet top-secure vehicles for its clients.
The Automotive Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • One (1) year of relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Good practical skills for using a range of tools and electronic instruments.
  • Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
  • Experience of working in an automotive environment, in particular with bulletproof luxury vehicles.
  • Ability to work methodically and pay close attention to details.
  • Good problem-solving skills, pay close attention to detail, and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to keep up to date with developments in engine and electrical technology.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
  • Inspect, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
  • Install, all interior electronics and audio/visual systems such as Android radio, surround cameras, alarm system, etc.
  • Create vehicle electrical control boards as per vehicle work order.
  • Create wiring harness as per vehicle work order.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to the manufacturer’s performance specifications by using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
  • Troubleshoot any unforeseen issues that arise related to an automotive part of electronics.
  • Complete other duties as directed by the Manager.
