Job Description Lead design and development of vehicle systems from concept to production; coordinate with OEM and Tier-1 teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing; own bill of materials, RFQ requirements, sourcing guidance, and supplier development to meet timing and cost targets; apply DFMEA, PFMEA, design for manufacturability and assembly, GD&T, APQP, and PPAP to deliver production-ready designs; create and release CAD models and drawings in PLM and manage change control through validation; plan and execute DVP&R and system and vehicle testing for functional, durability, and regulatory goals across powertrain, thermal, fuel and aftertreatment, electrical and infotainment, ADAS, and EV charging; perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods and drive corrective and preventive actions; perform ECU software updates and diagnostics, coordinate issue resolution with software, hardware, and integration teams; support calibrations, prototype builds, proving-ground activities, issue tracking, and cost-reduction proposals. Qualifications Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
