Description

S. Dilawri Auto Group is currently looking for a General Sales Manager for our Bank Street Mitsubishi dealership.

Qualifications

  • Must possess valid OMVIC license
  • Must have valid G license
  • Must have 3+ year of experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry

Performance Criteria

  • Departmental Operating Profit
  • Achieve/Exceed store targets
  • Overall success of dealership team

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department and achieve sales targets
  • Complete all hiring, progressive discipline and dismissal of employees in coordination with Human Resources
  • Organize and chair manager and sales meetings on a weekly basis
  • Conduct training sessions with Sales team
  • Report to VP of Operations on matters of importance
  • Construct methods and processes to ensure all targets both volume and gross are met on a monthly/yearly basis
  • Ensure new and used car policy and service policy are kept at acceptable levels
  • Educate staff on process and policy issues and ensure they are maintained at all time
  • Ordering of inventory with assistance of junior management
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on technological changes in automotive, new products, features, and warranty conditions/Maintain up to date online training/attend training seminars
  • Ensure that Sales Persons, Business Managers, Internet Managers and Sales Managers are following the Sales Process
  • Resolve complaints or customer inquiries that are otherwise not completed by Sales team
  • Accurately complete all appropriate paperwork related to sales in a timely manner
