You will gain confidence, build experience, and the skills required to be a successful Automotive Technician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform State Inspections Perform routine maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, digital vehicle inspections, fluid flushes, some intermediate brake repairs, etc. Work side by side with a certified Automotive Technician and will continue to learn how to repair engines, steering and suspension, automotive HVAC systems, and much more Build experience and skills as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles Perform honest, clear, and complete multi-point vehicle inspections in service to our guests Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively You will use your skills to get vehicles ready for our guests, ensuring they are safe and reliable Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Working together with other technicians you will solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver great results Qualifications Qualifications: Skilled and experienced in front end alignments Experience in repairing vehicles required A strong motivation to learn a mechanical service career path Shows a high level of interest, willingness to learn, and embraces new ideas Good communication skills and strong attention to detail Self-motivated and exemplifies a positive attitude A valid driver’s license Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools Walk/stand for the majority of the workday Drive manual transmission vehicles Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment Efficiently navigate a computer Additional Information Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
