JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, industrial mechanic, or millwright
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills across multiple systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and blueprints
  • Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid 310S Certification
  • Valid G driver’s license
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles and industrial equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on cars, light trucks, and machinery
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components such as engines, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulics
  • Install, align, and calibrate equipment and machinery
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
  • Fabricate or modify parts when needed
  • Maintain accurate service records for all work performed
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, technical manuals, and safety regulations
  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members about repairs and recommendations
  • Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized
