QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Time management, prioritization skills, and ability to multitask required
  • Ambitious, goal oriented mentality and eager to improve
  • Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • Understand automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, & features, comparing & contrasting competitive models & inspect automobiles
  • Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, answering internet leads in a timely & appropriate manner, responding to inquiries & recommending sales campaigns & promotions
  • Qualify buyers by understanding buyer’s requirements and interests, matching requirements & interests to various models & building rapport
  • Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities & features
  • Connect customers with a Sales Associate for test drives & to secure final sales
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities & reading professional publications
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new & different requests & exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • This position coordinates with & reports directly to the Sales Manager or General Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
