Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and excellent mechanical knowledge. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems

Job Details

Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
Estimate labour/service hours
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Test and adjust units to specifications
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Provide customer service

Skills

• Customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to automotive repair
• Proficiency and extensive experience in automotive repair techniques and procedures
• Experience with welding, hand tools, power tools, and vehicle assembly
• Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues efficiently
• Familiarity with dealership standards and practices is a plus
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
