AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC – MOTORSPORTS INDUSTRY LEADER

Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Hourly Rate: $25–$35 (DOE)
Join a premier motorsports engineering team in Santa Clarita, CA, where precision and performance drive everything we do. We’re seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to build, rebuild, and maintain high-performance racing chassis and hybrid systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Vocational training or certification in Automotive Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or related field is a plus
  • Proven ability to perform complex repairs and accurately diagnose mechanical issues
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical charts
  • Capable of working independently or from oral/written instructions
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, especially when leading others
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, sound judgment, and physical agility
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of the role

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and rebuild racing chassis and vehicles, including hybrid systems
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure proper fitment of new parts
  • Perform component sub-assembly, final assembly, teardown, inspection, and measurement
  • Train new team members in proper procedures and high-quality standards
  • Support race car performance goals including reliability, drivability, and optimization
  • Perform detailed inspections of chassis components and document findings
  • Assist in diagnosing faults and developing countermeasures for mechanical issues
