As an Automotive Mechanic, you’ll ensure smooth operations and safety compliance for essential ground services equipment— including but not limited to, fleet of F150, F250 and F350 trucks, fuel carts and hydrant trucks.

REQUIREMENTS:

The minimum requirements for this position are:

• 1-2 years of mechanical experience of any kind (preferably auto mechanic, box truck, HVAC, refrigeration systems, etc.)
• Mechanical minds who enjoy problem-solving
• General knowledge of carburetors, alternators, starter motors, batteries, hydraulics, small engines, radiators, and diesel engines
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass a federal fingerprint background check
• Have proof of Canada work eligibility
• Mechanics are required to bring their own set of basic tools (wrenches, ratchets, socket sets, screwdrivers, power tools, Allen wrenches, and voltmeter). Specialty tools will be provided by the Company.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working on Ground Support Equipment
• Electrical and diesel skills
• Class B CDL Driver’s License

· Preventative and routine repair services.

• Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
• Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
