OVERVIEW

We are looking for a friendly Automotive Parts Advisor to coordinate parts for vehicle service and repairs. You will work closely with our service team to provide excellent customer service to our patrons. When customers arrive at or call the parts department, you will greet them and determine what parts they need for their service and process payments for purchased items. You will also oversee the inventory, unpacking materials and documenting each shipment to ensure inventory numbers are current.

Parts Consultant Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist customers with finding the right parts for their vehicles
  • Provide technical support and product information to customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of our parts inventory
  • Process orders and returns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support at all times
  • Contribute to the overall success of the department and organization

SKILLS

  • Basic understanding of automotive components and systems
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail math principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, to effectively engage with customers.
  • Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
