Haley Ford is seeking an Automotive Parts Sales Specialist to assist customers in finding and purchasing the correct auto parts, handle sales transactions, and manage inventory. Key responsibilities include providing product information, suggesting related items, processing payments, handling returns, and maintaining sales records. This role requires strong knowledge of auto parts, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.  Core responsibilities * Customer Assistance: Help retail and wholesale customers locate parts over the phone or in person. * Sales and Transactions: Process sales, take payments, and issue credit for returns. * Inventory Management: Restock shelves, verify and organize will-call orders, and assist with ordering new parts. * Technical Support: Provide information on parts and their functions, and answer technical questions from customers and other team members. * Up-selling: Inform customers about companion part requirements and suggest additional products to increase sales. * Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, and other sales-related documents.  Required skills and qualifications * Experience with and a strong knowledge of automotive parts for different makes and models. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Proficiency with technology, such as computer systems, cash registers, and inventory management software. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. * Professional dress, speech and customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, previous experience with automotive parts and accessories, a strong customer service performance record, and strong computer and internet skills. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Responsibilities
