Audi Mississauga has two locations. Our premier new facility is in the heart of Peel region next to Toronto Pearson Airport. We are seeking a motivated team member to join our existing Parts Department for our Audi Mississauga Mavis location. With state-of-the-art equipment, a combined 29 work bays, multiple customer lounges, and digital tools to facilitate premium client experiences, we are prepared to leverage these resources to grow into the destination of choice for Audi Sales, Service and Parts in the Greater Toronto Area. Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a dual role. You will be responsible for shipping/receiving as well as supporting the team in the front counter in addition, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and parts knowledge. You will take orders over the phone and in person, proactively assist customers browsing in the store, as well as arrange for special delivery needs for customers. You will support the shipping and receiving duties as well as efficiently find ways to search parts that are not kept within the store and strive to enhance sales by offering excellent customer service and providing information about add-ons. Audi Shipping/Receiving

  • Receive; check quantity/quality/damages against packing slips of all incoming/outgoing orders (including Stock orders, Daily Orders, Cross Border shipments, and RED/Emergency, Back Orders from Audi Canada, Audi Mississauga, and any other vendors Audi Brampton does business with and distribute part(s) to appropriate department (making sure parts handed out are charged out).
  • Put away stock parts to proper bin locations, including matching up SPORD order items with appropriate SPO slip and notify advisor(s) when their parts arrive.
  • Parts stock room maintenance including adding bin locations, deleting bin locations, keeping bins neat and tidy also keeping receiving area clean and tidy and general sweeping of stock room to keep free from debris.
  • Maintain cores/claims (shorts/damages), check, and submit returns on a weekly basis or whenever necessary.
  • Maintain buyback Return every 60 days in conjunction with Audi Canada’s buyback schedule, this includes adding parts to return, keeping return area in a controllable fashion and labeling/packaging up returns to send back for credit to VW.
  • Help with telephone inquires / counter inquires including tech back counter, and retail front counter and ordering of parts whenever necessary.
  • Maintain/track/submit and return core orders for radios from our drop ship program and also radio’s that need to be emailed to Audi for them to be released to us.
  • Notify department manager of deficiencies, or any discrepancies with parts stock or any related issues with regards to stock room.
  • Audi Parts Specialist
  • Handle telephone inquiries, providing quotations and receiving orders for retail and wholesale clientele.
  • Handle email inquiries direct from our corporate website and also direct from our clientele.
  • Work with parts management team and external parts wholesale representative to promote the benefits and upsell on OEM Audi parts to new & existing wholesale clientele.
  • Prepare detailed invoices purchase orders and customer statements
  • Required to maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store.
  • Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
  • Maintain customer goodwill.
  • Receive and put away all incoming morning stock/daily order shipments. Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
  • Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
  • Administer warranty parts returns, including destruction.
  • Responsible for core returns, buyback returns, all outgoing credits to the manufacturer.
  • General housekeeping of the parts department area including stockroom, Boutique areas.
  • Parts stock bin checks, reporting discrepancies to the parts manager.
  • Parts bin maintenance, including updating supersessions, bin locations and labels.
  • Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager.
  • Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
  • Must be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
  • Work in partnership with Store Managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
  • Deliver/pick orders as required. Performs other duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Post-secondary or college courses or equivalent relevant dealership industry experience.
  • Minimum one year experience in Parts department.
  • Volkswagen and Audi experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License, good driving records and Driver’s Abstract.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in Retail sales preferred.
  • Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 80lbs occasionally.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
