As our Parts Person, you will play a central role ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time—supporting both technicians and customers in the fast-paced, rewarding collision repair environment at our shop in Cheshire, CT

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma (or GED) required.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • At least 1 year of experience preferred in an auto body, dealership, or automotive parts role (collision shop setting a plus).
  • Working knowledge of auto body parts, assemblies, and vehicle systems for both domestic and foreign makes/models.
  • Proficiency in inventory management/parts lookup software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, Reynolds & Reynolds, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Clear and professional communication skills with technicians, estimators, vendors, and (where applicable) customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods in a busy shop environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years’ direct experience in an auto body or dealership parts department.
  • Past use of collision estimation platforms (CCC ONE or similar).
  • Knowledge of insurance and DRP parts protocols, OEM vs aftermarket standards.
  • ASE Parts Specialist certification (a plus—not required; support available for certification).

  • Familiarity with shop floor workflow in a collision repair operation.
