Our Mercedes-Benz Thornhill, luxury dealership is looking for an Automotive Sales Assistant to join our amazing team!
Job Purpose
The Sales Assistant provides support to a senior salesperson in presenting the product, aiding in the sales process and delivering New or Pre-owned vehicles to the customer. The Sales Assistant must be comfortable providing information and accommodating the guest to ensure an exceptional experience. The assistant must be friendly, enthusiastic, articulate, and a self-motivated team player, maintaining a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Greet customers in a professional manner.
  • Introduce customers to the appropriate Sales Consultant.
  • Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate individual.
  • Responsible for facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
  • Accuracy of all paperwork produced.
  • Follow all customer requirements.
  • Assist supervision/management as needed.
  • Filing.
  • Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions.
  • Maintain professional relationship with customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service. Including written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Must have an enthusiastic personality.
  • Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
