Role Summary
You’ll convert inbound leads into happy owners by guiding customers through selection, financing, trade-ins, and delivery. Success looks like consistent monthly unit sales, top-tier customer satisfaction, and clean, compliant paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management: Respond to digital and phone inquiries quickly; qualify prospects and book appointments/test drives.
  • Consultative Sales: Identify needs, present vehicle options/features, and build value through demos and transparent pricing.
  • Financing Coordination: Collect credit apps, explain terms, and liaise with lenders to secure approvals and F&I products.
  • Trade-Ins: Pre-appraise trade vehicles (photos, options, condition notes) and coordinate with the appraisal team.
  • Deliveries: Prepare, finalize documents, and complete on-site or doorstep deliveries with feature walk-throughs.
  • CRM & Process: Maintain accurate CRM notes, follow-up cadences, and pipeline stages; meet daily/weekly activity KPIs.
  • Compliance: Adhere to AMVIC rules, privacy policies, and all dealership processes and disclosure requirements.
  • Customer Care: Maintain post-sale relationships for referrals, reviews, and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of automotive, retail, or solution-sales experience (auto sales preferred).
  • Proven track record hitting monthly targets.
  • Comfortable explaining financing options and add-on products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient with CRM and digital retail tools; fast with texts, email, and e-signature workflows.
  • Team Player
  • Eager to learn
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
  • AMVIC salesperson license (or ability to obtain promptly).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with sub-prime/near-prime auto lending.
  • Bilingual or multilingual.

Schedule & Environment

  • Full-time; evenings/weekends as needed to match customer availability.
  • Mix of Office and home deliveries.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Lead response time; set-to-show and show-to-sale conversion rates.
  • Monthly units sold and gross per unit.
  • CSI score, reviews, and referral volume.
  • Paperwork accuracy and compliance.
