Hunter Automotive Group, a family-owned dealership proudly serving the community for over 85 years, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive dealership performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage the dealership sales team to achieve sales and gross profit objectives. Develop and implement strategies to meet daily, monthly, and annual sales goals. Monitor sales performance, closing ratios, and key metrics to improve team productivity. Train, mentor, and coach sales staff to strengthen product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer experience. Structure and finalize vehicle deals while maintaining dealership profitability and compliance. Work closely with the General Sales Manager and General Manager to align department goals and operations. Ensure all sales processes, CRM usage, and follow-up procedures are consistently followed. Maintain strong relationships with customers and resolve escalated concerns when needed. Collaborate with the finance, service, and parts departments to support overall dealership success. Foster a positive, high-performance culture that reflects the dealership’s values and standards. Required Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales experience, with leadership or management experience preferred. Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to meet or exceed goals. Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, CRM tools, and inventory management. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
