Responsibilities The Express Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring an exemplary experience for express service customers by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to customer needs, preparing accurate repair orders, and communicating clearly in a fast-paced environment. The Express Service Advisor serves as a liaison between the customer and technician, ensuring service needs are understood by the technician and recommended maintenance and services are clearly explained to the customer. Prepare accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients Help to identify mechanical problems with fact-finding questions and performing and interactive visual inspection arranging road test if necessary Promote the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold Follow the progress of service repairs and provide customers with timely updates Qualifications Preferred: At least 2 years of prior Automotive Service Advisor experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Compensation The estimated annual earnings for this position are $35,152.00 - $150,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commission, overtime, etc. Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods. Please keep in mind that this range may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
