Fernie Chrysler is looking for a automotive service advisor to take care of our day to day customers with regard to their automotive repair needs. Onsite training as well as training through Chrysler Canada’s Performance Training institute is supplied to help you achieve success in this role. As a small dealership you will work alongside team members sharing your mindset for customer service at the highest level.
We are looking for:
· Good knowledge of automotive problems and services
· Collaborate with parts, service, and technician staff to assist with filling orders.
.Assist with contact and follow up with customers for service required and when work is completed
· Effectively listen and understand customer’s description of vehicle needs or issues; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; test drives; reviewing vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
· Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions of said coverages
· Recommends required services and provides estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
· Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
· Participates in manufacturer and vendor provided training opportunities; keeping up to date with manufacturers’ publications
. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
