Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor/ Assistant Shop Manager

We are looking for an experienced and professional Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As the Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a warm and friendly welcome.
• Listen to customers’ concerns and provide accurate information about their vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Schedule appointments and manage work orders using our internal systems.
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure that work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Provide customers with updates on the status of their vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare estimates for customers and explain the repair process and costs.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Help maintain productive workflow through the shop
• Communicate with technicians and prioritize jobs accordingly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
• General Vehicle Knowledge, Ability to Identify Vehicle Systems & Parts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Pay: $36,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
