Nixon Automotive of Burnaby is searching for the right person to join our growing service department.
We are a close knit Independent BMW Service Shop, which means you’ll take on a variety of tasks not typical in larger service centres. Additional tasks like checking in and moving vehicles at drop off, preparing detailed estimates for clients, and coordinating parts orders. Whatever it takes to give a client the wow factor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in sales or service advising
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, including typing, data entry, and navigating commonly used software applications
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Ability to quickly learn new software is an asset
  • Experience estimating and parts ordering
  • Impeccable punctuality and attendance
  • Ability to maintain technician efficiency and profit margins

Responsibilities include scheduling service work, greeting customers in a friendly manner, and communicating with them throughout the repair process. Ideal candidates will have a technical background and a general knowledge of common automotive issues. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs with outstanding customer service,
  • Provide clear explanations of repairs and services using mechanical knowledge.
  • Upsell additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build detailed estimates for customer approval and order necessary parts.
  • Perform drop-off check-ins and ensure a smooth process for customers.
  • Move vehicles as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and professional service area.
