JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in a part-time role. Candidate must be flexible with their availability. The ideal candidate will serve as a link between our customers and the automotive service department, ensuring that all customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST have a clean abstract and a valid G license.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within an automotive environment.
  • Knowledge and efficiency in computer applications.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is helpful.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written..
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding service.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and on the phone, assessing their automotive needs and scheduling appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations.
  • Relay diagnostics and provide accurate information and estimates to customers.
  • Communicate with suppliers to source vehicle parts and prepare quotes.
  • Tracking and reconciling parts warranties and returns.
  • Processing payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, invoices, appointment bookings and sales transactions.
  • Picking up and dropping off of vehicles.
