You would report directly to the Service Director. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Must have a valid California driver's license for 3+ years and a clean driving record Be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles; the ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus Physically demanding job with regular lifting throughout each day Ability to work outdoors Strong work ethic Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail Self-motivated Must be a good team player Must provide driving records and be willing to submit to a drug test and background check upon being hired Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary) Essential Duties, but not limited to: Ensure the shop is clean at all times, including sweeping technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls, and vending areas, and Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines. Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary. Washes shop truck, inside and out. Removes all debris from the lot. Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures. Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly. Removes any old scrap parts from the shop after checking with the Parts Director or Assistant Parts Manager. Returns cores to storage area and assist with moving tires when needed. Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. Runs errands as directed by the Shop Foreman. Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations. Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection. Parks vehicle in designated areas as instructed; locking keys in a key box or places keys in a designated area. Assists ASM, technicians and management with task as needed. Deliver vehicles to guests waiting as instructed. Maintains a current CA driver’s license. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
