The Automotive Service Greeter provides a professional first impression in the service drive by welcoming customers, directing traffic flow, and initiating the check-in process. They are responsible for organizing vehicles, verifying appointments, and connecting guests with service advisors, requiring excellent interpersonal skills, a clean appearance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Customer Greeting: Greet guests promptly, professionally, and with a friendly attitude as they enter the service drive. * Traffic & Parking Management: Guide vehicles to appropriate spots, manage the flow of traffic, and maintain an orderly service drive. * Check-In Process: Verify service appointments, record mileage, and note down client information (e.g., VIN, tag number). * Vehicle Preparation: Install protective equipment like seat covers, floor mats, and steering wheel covers. * Logistics & Support: Move vehicles between the service lane and parking areas, and assist service advisors in directing customers. Occasionally assisting the Parts and Service Dept * Administrative Tasks: Assist with answering phones, filing paperwork, or managing loaner/rental agreements * Porter Schedule: Manage the porter’s schedule  Required Skills and Qualifications * Communication Skills: Strong verbal skills to interact with customers and staff. * Customer Service Focus: A desire to provide a positive, welcoming experience. * Organization & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple vehicles and customers in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. * Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and, in some cases, drive manual or automatic vehicles. * Professionalism: Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance. * Licensing: Valid driver’s license required for moving vehicles
