The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years, active hands-on, day-to-day service management background with a passion for exceeding service goals while delivering exceptional customer service coupled with an astute understanding of the automotive industry.Our facility is World Class and image compliant. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) years’ Service Manager experience with an automotive dealership REQUIRED
  • Process driven coach/mentor who can lead an existing group of dedicated employees
  • Prior experience using Reynolds & Reynolds software preferred
  • Process driven, outstanding attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance, a strong work ethic with integrity beyond reproach.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities
  • Manage the activities of the service department, ensure efficient and profitable operation of the department
  • Plan, organize, and lead service department operations to meet/exceed dealership goals and manufacturer requirements.
  • Supervisor department employees to include training, motivation, counseling, and documenting employee performance to maximize production and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain profitability while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction (CSI)
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Plan and prepare work schedules. Assist in monitoring the shop productivity, workflow, and procedures with an emphasis on efficiency, thoroughness, and safety
  • Attract, develop, and retain the very best talent
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Maintain an organized and clean shop
  • Ensure proper warranty procedures are followed, claims review, billing, and collection
