What You'll Do: As the Operating Partner, you will lead the overall success of the shop. Key responsibilities include: Lead, coach, and develop the shop team Manage daily shop operations and workflow Maintain company standards, systems, and values Sell repair and maintenance services using transparent communication Monitor technician productivity and shop efficiency Conduct hiring, onboarding, and training of team members Perform employee coaching and performance reviews Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and warranty administration Monitor financial performance and shop profitability Handle customer concerns and service recovery Ensure shop safety and operational standards Great leaders in this role believe no task is too small when it comes to supporting the team and serving customers. What We’re Looking For: 2+ years automotive shop management experience 1+ year sales experience or strong service sales ability Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing technicians and service advisors Ability to manage workflow, productivity, and shop performance Comfortable reviewing financial reports and shop KPIs Strong communication and problem-solving skills High school diploma or GED required Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Why Work With Us: At GreatWater, we believe in honest service, quality workmanship, and taking care of people.
