New Bern Auto Group is seeking an experienced leader for our Service Manager Position. This is a great position for an an experienced Service Advisor, Shop Foreman, Shop Dispatcher or experienced Service Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Manager is required or 5 years as a Service Advisor
  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Driver’s License

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in servicing, repairing and explaining each service need.
  • Communication with customers, employees, coworkers and vendors
  • Understanding customers’ requirements and concerns; matching requirements and concerns to various service options.
  • Managing shop Flow and keeps the shop productive
  • Productivity Reporting
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required.
  • Hiring and supervising all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in servicing customers.
  • Creating & achieving goals, for Effective Labor Rate, ASR percentages, Hours Per RO, Xtime Utilization, etc.
  • Must have warranty work completed, submitted & paid in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately.
