Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers warmly and establish trust as the friendly face of our service department.
  • Create a culture of hospitality that guarantees customer satisfaction and retention, making our dealership a reliable partner for their automotive needs.
  • Actively listen and show empathy towards customers’ needs, concerns, and goals, while accurately documenting them into clear repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required
  • Foster transparent and proactive communication with technicians to identify and diagnose vehicle issues
  • Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance to customers transparently, ensuring customer confidence and value.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer’s approval of estimates and answering questions and concerns
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
  • Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, ensuring timely and regular updates
  • Efficiently manage service appointments and follow up on customer inquiries.
  • Drive the customer shuttle
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers’ publications
  • Enhance the store’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
