JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is essential; dealership experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Familiarity with automotive schematics and assembly processes is advantageous.
  • Welding skills are a nice-to-have but not required.
  • To be able to perform repairs using proper procedures, tools etc. This is not the place for quick work. We take pride in torquing everything, cleaning and servicing vehicles properly to reduce comebacks. Fixing it right the first time is absolutely the goal.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s needs and repairs performed.
  • Assist in the assembly of automotive parts when necessary.
  • Lift heavy components as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Being able to accurately, quickly isolate concerns that clients have and to provide a path to repair or testing to the service advisor.
