JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will work with various tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools, to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred.
  • Certification from an automotive technology program is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary.
  • Assemble components and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
