JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repairs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, Redseal technicians preferred/ Apprentices with experience will still be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques, including welding and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair tools is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is a plus but not mandatory.

    Pay: $20.60-$47.58 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble, disassemble, and repair vehicle components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
  • Engage with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during vehicle repairs or parts replacement.
