Our flagship store at 1615 Laperriere boasts a seven acre, video-controlled lot, and a combined total of more than 40 mechanical, auto body, paint, detailing and wash stations! We are now looking for a Automotive Service Technician:

  • Keep Shop and work areas clean
  • Service and repair customer vehicles
  • Provide estimates for tire and parts replacement on vehicles
  • Keep oil and all chemicals stocked
  • Keep inventory of all shop supplies up to date and stocked
  • Perform and inspect vehicles for Ontario Safety Inspection
  • Report any issues to the Mechanical Supervisor
  • Complete estimate sheet (SOP) for body shop collision estimates and email them to appropriate personnel.
  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting road tests, adjusting controls and systems.
  • Complies with provincial vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Service Technician License is required (310S)
  • Must hold a valid G Driver License
  • knowledge and experience with routine maintenance is required
