Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Maintain shop special tools and equipment and return when jobs are completed Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check Valid driver’s license in good standing Maintain Bay in an orderly manner Ensures that customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information Ability to identify problems quickly Ability to learn new technology, repairs and service procedures and specifications Able to operate diagnostic equipment and computers Job Type: Full-time Salary: Compensation based on experience and skill level
Responsibilities
Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealership standards using specialized diagnostic equipment. Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customers are informed about necessary additional services.
