OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in a dealership setting preferred. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven mechanic experience in an automotive repair environment; dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily duties.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with automotive schematics and assembly processes is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous. • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
• Conduct assembly of vehicle components as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle’s needs.
• Assist with heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.
