JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional vehicle service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Potential to develop into the role of a Shop Foreman.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to automotive repair.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Additional certifications are a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• ODP Licence and College of Trades certification.
• Valid driver’s license is required and clean driving record

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform a variety of automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Weld components when required to ensure structural integrity of vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during the repair process.
