Adams Off Road Shop, a premier off-road vehicle service and modification center, is searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic and passionate team. If you have a love for off-road vehicles, a strong commitment to delivering top-notch work, and your own set of tools, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a focus on off-road vehicles and aftermarket parts. Red Seal or Equivalent Experience Preferred.
  • Proven experience with differential re-gears, suspension system installations, brakes, electrical, installing aftermarket components and suspension alignment. Electrical & Drivability Diagnostic Skills a Bonus!
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box and come up with creative repair and maintenance solutions
  • Commitment to excellence and pride in workmanship is mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and grow as part of a dynamic team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team efficiently
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Must have own tools suitable for performing the required tasks as a General Automotive Technician.
  • Maintain a punctual and professional attitude
  • Communicate effectively with customers and teammates
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
  • Prior experience training or mentoring junior technicians, or a strong interest in doing so
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong leadership qualities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the team
  • Patience and a genuine desire to help others succeed in the industry

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of vehicle services and modifications, including differential re-gears, suspension system repairs and installations, front end repairs and more.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently and accurately while successfully reporting and communicating with service advisors.
  • Maintain a very clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the best possible repair solutions and customer satisfaction
  • Work independently and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation
  • Maintain a punctual and professional attitude at all times
  • Communicate effectively with customers and teammates
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
  • Mentor and train apprentice technicians (if interested in a leadership role)
