WHO WE ARE:

We are a full service automotive maintenance shop as well as custom wheel and tire installer. Our scope of work goes over everything from tires to lift kits, oil changes to engine/transmission replacements, and in depth diagnostic services. We work on everything from diesel pickups to European cars. We operate on thorough inspections, complete diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Automotive Technician/Mechanic is responsible for a variety of duties relating to the repair and maintenance of vehicles such as but not limited to:

Repair/Maintenance

• Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components for diagnostic of issues
• Perform Diagnostic and properly use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment
• Perform automotive repairs including front-end, engine repair, brake systems, transmission, oil changes and maintenance services
• Review all repairs with Service Advisor prior to executing repairs
• Notify Shop Manager if any unforeseen issues arise
• Assist other team members with repairs/maintenance, as required

Shop Related

• Ensure work area is kept neat, tidy, and organized
• Dispose of used items in appropriate recycling areas and notify Shop Manager/Owner when removal is required

Customer Service

• Provide correct and thorough diagnosis of repairs needed, when required to do so
• Ensure customer vehicle is kept clean and free from any damages while in our possession
• Take ownership of your repairs and strive to ensure all necessary components are completed to ensure customer satisfaction and zero return-defects
• Although talking to customers is not part of the job, you are expected to be courteous and polite when customers approach you

General

• Full-time position, 8-5 Monday to Friday. Saturdays are optional but not required.
• Employees must wear appropriate uniforms as provided and ensure they are in a presentable condition (i.e. clean)
• Follow all Health & Safety requirements

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Automotive Service Technician Red Seal
• CVSE Authorized Inspector License an asset
• Previous experience in the automotive trade.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn our systems and procedures
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities on a daily basis
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work full-time, 5 days a week + overtime when required
• Able to show up to work fit for duty and on schedule
