JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in a dealership environment being a significant advantage. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic; dealership experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex automotive issues.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair manuals and schematics for various vehicle models.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during repairs and maintenance.
  • Assemble components as needed for vehicle repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to quality standards.
  • Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices when required.
