Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to effectively repair and service vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs
- Weld and fabricate metal components when necessary
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Commercial Inspection (E450, Sprinter, Transit and others)
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
Skills:
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
- Proficient in using power tools and specialized equipment for automotive repairs
