Description We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our growing team. This role is the key connection between our customers and technicians, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and professional service experience from start to finish. Requirements Key Responsibilities Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs Write accurate repair orders and clearly explain recommended services Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines Provide service estimates and obtain customer approvals Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records Upsell maintenance and repair services ethically and professionally Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after repairs Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Writer / Service Advisor preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic automotive knowledge (diagnostics and repair terminology) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong computer and POS system skills Valid driver’s license Great Lakes Auto Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination.
