JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Shop Equipment Installation and Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive shop equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role requires significant travel to VIP locations, where you will provide hands-on support and expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in automotive shop equipment installation and repair.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% for client visits.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools, and work in various environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair automotive shop equipment, including lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess equipment needs and provide recommendations for installations and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
  • Train associates on the proper use and maintenance of installed equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and address any equipment-related issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in equipment installation and repair.
