To keep our shop running smoothly, we are looking for a part-time Shop Assistant to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a casual, part-time position (approximately one day per week) ideal for someone reliable, organized, and eager to help behind the scenes. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for cleaning, organizing, and supporting the overall efficiency of the shop. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment for both staff and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks in a busy shop environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude.

• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean shop floors.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins.
• Clean and wipe down shop tools, equipment, and workbenches.
• Organize the tool room and assist with managing parts inventory.
• Provide occasional assistance to mechanics when an extra set of hands is needed.
• Keep the coffee/break area clean and stocked.
• Ensure washrooms are tidy and fully supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Organize and maintain tire storage areas.
• Perform other cleaning, organizing, and support tasks as required.
