Position Summary Beep is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team supporting our autonomous shuttle program. This role ensures our fleet of autonomous vehicles operate safely and efficiently through proactive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. ***This role requires on-site work at all of our locations including Orlando and Jacksonville. Must be willing to travel to all locations. Perform autonomous vehicle maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing complex electrical systems. Conduct electrical diagnostics using scan tools, oscilloscopes, and specialized equipment. Troubleshoot and repair brake, steering, suspension systems, wiring harnesses, CAN bus systems, ECUs, BCMs, and other control modules. Interpret electrical schematics and technical service manuals. Complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance. Document maintenance procedures and update service manuals. Support aftermarket modifications and system calibrations. Participate in change management and incident management processes for planned and unplanned maintenance. Maintain required certifications and adhere to safety standards. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work with proprietary software to diagnose issues with and calibrate vehicle components Ability to identify issues and make recommendations to improve existing processes Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics Motivated to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment Thrive in a team-based environment with shared goals Demonstrates a safety-first attitude Self-starter, excellent problem solver, flexible, resourceful, process driven and have a high degree of integrity and ethics Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal Interest in emerging technology and mobility solutions Education and Experience: Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience working in the automotive industry with a focus on fleet maintenance; autonomous fleet maintenance experience preferred Strong experience working with electrical systems ASE certifications (A Series, H Series, and L3 preferred) Automotive Technician and/or Dealership experience preferred Must be able to pass a background check and Federal drug screen Must have a clean driving record Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, or kneeling predominately in an outdoor environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Travel up to 75%
