Job Details Job Location: Plattsburgh, NY 12901 Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 Hourly Job Summary: The Body Shop Technician at DELLA Auto Group in Plattsburgh New York will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles in our body shop. This individual will work as a skilled laborer and contractor, utilizing their expertise in the auto industry to ensure high-quality repairs are completed efficiently. The role requires a full-time commitment and will operate on an hourly basis. Compensation & Benefits: The Body Shop Technician will receive competitive hourly pay. Responsibilities: • Perform body repairs and restoration on vehicles in the body shop, including body panel replacement, welding, and painting • Conduct thorough inspections before and after repairs to ensure all work meets quality standards • Use specialized equipment and tools to complete repairs, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols • Keep detailed records of repair work, including parts used, labor time, and customer information • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers, and insurance representatives • Attend training and stay updated on industry advancements and techniques Qualifications Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto body repair, preferably in a dealership setting • I-CAR certification is a plus • Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and tools • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time • Valid driver's license and clean driving record EEOC Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
