JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service, with experience working in a dealership environment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Automotive Technician will work closely with service advisors and other technicians to provide high-quality service to our customers.

SKILLS

• Proficient in automotive repair techniques and practices, with hands-on experience as a service technician.
• Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus, enhancing versatility in servicing various vehicle types.
• Ability to weld as needed for specific repairs or modifications.
• Strong understanding of automotive service protocols and safety measures.
• Experience working in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to transmit technical information clearly to customers and team members.
• Competence in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting vehicle issues effectively.

• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify necessary repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively in the repair process.
• Collaborate with team members to align on repair strategies and customer service goals.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous education.
• Assist in auto estimating for repairs needed, providing clear communication to customers regarding their vehicle’s condition.
