Job Details Job Location: Queensbury, NY 12804 Salary Range: $25.00 - $50.00 Hourly Job Summary: The Service Technician at DELLA Auto Group is a skilled individual responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will work as an individual contributor and must have a strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems. The role is a Full-Time, Salary Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor position in the automotive industry. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for the Service Technician position is paid weekly. The hourly rate will be dependent on certifications and experience. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify any issues and determine necessary repairs. - Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. - Repair and replace parts and components, such as brakes, engines, and electrical systems. - Use computerized diagnostic equipment to pinpoint problems and make necessary adjustments. - Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly and the vehicle is safe to drive. - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. - Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and answering any questions they may have. - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles. Qualifications Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - At least 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician. - ASE certification is preferred. - Strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems. - Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools. - Excellent troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Must have a valid driver's license.
